If coming from the New Jersey side, be sure to bring a couple of singles with you as there is a $1 toll each way (no EZ Pass) over the historic 100-year-old Dingmans Ferry Bridge, one of the last privately owned toll bridges in the United States. Also bring some cash for optional trail guides, which provide great information corresponding to the color coded numbers you will see on trees...

Nice Hike !
This was my first trek into PA for a day hike and I enjoyed it immensely. The ride from Bergen Ct., NJ is not bad at all if you can avoid rush hour traffic on Rt 80. The trails are very well maintained, kudos to the trail workers, and the park is very scenic . There is a little bit of everything here; waterfalls, ponds, creeks and mountain views. The falls are some of the most spectacular I have ever seen on a hike but be prepared, the hike back up to the trail and for a while beyond is a steady incline... ( I'm a bit out of shape and I'm glad I had some power gels) !

Great hike, a little bit of everything
Did the whole loop which logged in at 7.5 miles. The GPS directions link was not correct, put in PEEC as stated in other comments. I took 2 large dogs and navigated the steep decent with the rope. Loved that there were views, waterfalls, a gorge, forest and fossils! Did the 7.5 in 3.5 hours. This was a great moderate to strenuous (in parts-nothing crazy) hike!
