Registration is closed for this event
Feel like you're on top of the Hudson Highlands on this special members-only adventure!

To recognize and thank you for supporting the Trail Conference, we hope you will join us for an exclusive, guided hike!

Join your fellow Trail Conference members, volunteers, and staff for an amazing hike on Friday, July 27!  This moderately paced, 4.5-mile hike through Black Rock Forest follows lightly traveled trails to breathtaking overlooks, including views of Orange County’s highest point, Schunemunk Mountain.

There is one strenuous climb up Sackett and Golden Ridges. Other highlights include views of Sutherland Pond, Split Rock, Jupiter’s Boulder and Mineral Spring Brook and falls. Faster hikers will have the option of adding on with a half-mile, scenic wetland loop. Point-to-point hike, car shuttling required.

The meeting spot is a dirt pull-off along Mineral Springs Road, Highland Mills, N.Y. There are two junctions of Mineral Springs Road and Old Mineral Springs Road. Our pull-off is located at the more southerly of the two junctions. There is no street address. It is located precisely here on Google Maps:
