Invasive Species for Trail Maintainers Workshop

Registration is closed for this event
Do you already care for the trails? Learn how to take the next step and help wildlife on your trail section by identifying and removing invasive plants.

Trail Maintenance is clearing, cleaning, and blazing a trail so that other people can use the trail.  Unfortunately along many trails native plants, which benefit local wildlife, have been replaced by invasive bushes and vines.

This course is only open to active trail maintainers and helps you understand how to help trail visitors and wildlife by identifying and removing some of our most common invasive plants.  No prior plant identification skills required.

There may be a short field component of this course, so be sure you wear your sturdy hiking boots and work gloves if you have them!
